As some of your may know I am now trying the slow carb diet from the Four Hour Body. I just wanted to write this to show that meals can be exciting on this diet. To me this is a diet made in heaven. So far I have been on it for a little over 2 weeks. After week one I had lost one pound. Slow start but a start. Any way the point of this post is to show you my delicious lunch.


Yes people that is 2 grass fed ground beef patties, 3 strips of bacon, an organic farm fresh egg, black beans, and a spinach, broccoli, carrot, and tomato salad with red wine vinaigrette. How is that for diet food.

Did I forget to mention red wine, a Pinot Noir to be specific. I am loving this diet so as long as I show the slightest results I will keep on it. I recommend this book to anyone that wants to loose weight or take their training to the next level. As well as any of us past our teenage years that may want to boost testosterone as well. Yes that is in there too. Good book great read and yes lunch was delicious.
At the 2.5 week point I weighed in with a 5lb loss. Not too bad.
